Most of the time, your computer is at risk of attacks from viruses and spyware when you are browsing the Internet. As soon as your PC gets infected by either of these two, you start to have an immediate effect. You will find that your PC is slowing down and at times it hangs in the middle with your monitor screen turning blue. Virus and spyware have other effects on your computer. Your firewall may have been affected, and suddenly, without your knowledge, it starts to send out strange traffic which consists of information relating to your personal data.

It is a fact that if you occasionally remove the errors accumulated in your Windows registry, your computer will run better and maintain its speed. Your Windows operating system maintains a record of the various relationships between your hardware and software in your PC, and that record is maintained in the Windows registry database. Whenever you install a software package, the registry gets updated, and similarly, when you uninstall any application software the registry record changes.
